Ask your questions to Emirates Identity Authority

Gulf News Broadcasting has a live interview with Thamer Rashid Al Qasimi, Planning Director and Project Management Director at Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) on Tuesday afternoon.

He will be appearing from 4pm on Gulf News Radio 2 (99.3 or 106FM) and from 5pm on Gulf News Radio 1 (104.1 and 100.5FM).

Anyone can ask there question about Emirates ID card by filling up a form in the Gulfnews website. Alternatively you can SMS your queries regarding Emirates identity card to 6362 (for Radio One) or 6364 (for Radio 2)

To listen to the broadcast you can either tune in to your radio, or live stream via the Gulf News website (the link is on the right hand side of the secreen).

I have already emirates id, but one mistake happened me, I applied for renewel in the 1st time ID form, what will happen? is any option to edit?
what is the remedy please?

Its good to have Emirates plastic Id cards but i think it should be universal to be used any where to this regard.

No fines for expats who fail to register for Emirates ID cards

Gulfnews Reports... Expatriate professionals in the UAE can continue to register for their identity cards even after the deadline of December 31. The Emirates Identity Authority issued a reprieve on Tuesday saying fines won't be imposed on expatriate professionals who fail to get the ID card before the end of December. "Although we don't extend the deadline for the professionals, we will be ready to continue their registration even after the deadline but at the cost of certain inconveniences," said Darwish Ahmad Al Zarouni, Director General of Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA). "But for UAE Nationals, no services shall be provided without the ID from January 1, 2009 as per law," he said. The reprieve isn't an extension of the deadline because EIDA will open the registration for another category of expatriates from January 1 as per plan. Registration: How to apply for an ID card

1. Download and Install the free emirates application form software. 2. Fill up all required fields 3. Save the filed emirates ID card application form and take print out using a laser printer. 3.
